Management and Coordination of the Project
Building capacity
Objective 1. Sharing knowledge between experienced Roma young people and academics to develop shared resources.
Objective 2. Overcoming the existing barriers of the institutional and participation of the Roma young people.
Objective 3. Increasing the institutional capacity and willingness to respond to Roma young people`s wishes and concerns.
Objective 4. Encouraging opportunities and behaviour that will be favourable to Roma young people`s participation.
Reflective action and inquiry to support shared evaluation
Objective 1. Inviting Roma young people to participate and to reflect on issues they wish to take action around in their daily lives.
Objective 2. Analysing what works in young people`s participation, how to plan their self -governance actions and how to overcome the challenges revealed in the inquiry to date.
Objective 3. Providing the Roma young people with further resources with which to develop and implement their own plans.
Objective 4. Obtaining findings and implications for policy and practice at local, national and European levels.
Sharing information
Objective 1. To facilitate sharing of the information and discussions between young people in and between participating projects.
Objective 2. To support information exchange between team members.
Objective 3. Networking with other Roma young people.
Objective 4. Enabling awareness on existing barriers and identifying strategies to overcome difficulties.
Embedded action, learning and change
Objective 1. To outreach and enhance the Roma young people own aspirations for change and resources made available.
Objective 2. To obtain improvement and changes in national and international service sand policy.
Objective 3. To inform deeper understanding of barriers to and identifying strategies to overcome difficulties.
